Insane happiness

We are down to 2 weeks before opening night.  I love this part of putting on a show!  It's my favorite because everything starts to come together so fast and you practically live in the auditorium and see show people more than anyone else and everyone you know not involved in the show thinks you've dropped off the planet and you work long hours painting the stage late at night and get giddy from the fumes and all sorts of little things pop up and you have to figure it out real quick.   It's just so intense!
I love this part of a show!  It's my favorite!
Although you could argue that whatever stage of production I'm currently involved in is my favorite, I think the last 2 weeks hold a special place in my heart.   What's not to love?

And she's back!

I woke up this morning and nearly jumped out of bed I was so excited and had so much energy.  Did I mention that it was 6:30 in the morning?

Psalm 34

 1I will bless the LORD at all times;
   his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2My sou makes its boast in the LORD;
   let the humble hear and be glad.
3Oh, magnify the LORD with me,
   and let us exalt his name together!

 4I sought the LORD, and he answered me
   and delivered me from all my fears.
5Those who look to him are radiant,
   and their faces shall never be ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him
   and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the LORD encamps
   around those who fear him, and delivers them.

 8Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good!
    Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
9Oh, fear the LORD, you his saints,
   for those who fear him have no lack!
10 The young lions suffer want and hunger;
   but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

 11 Come, O children, listen to me;
    I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 What man is there who desires life
   and loves many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil
   and your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Turn away from evil and do good;
   seek peace and pursue it.

 15 The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous
    and his ears toward their cry.
16 The face of the LORD is against those who do evil,
   to cut off the memory of them from the earth.
17 When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears
   and delivers them out of all their troubles.
18The LORD is near to the brokenhearted
   and saves the crushed in spirit.

 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
    but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
20He keeps all his bones;
    not one of them is broken.
21 Affliction will slay the wicked,
   and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
22The LORD redeems the life of his servants;
   none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.

It's great!

I was tired most of today, and even tonight after work when I had to go to the store.  But now I am home alone blaring the obc of Rent (my edited version) and doing laundry, dishes, unclogging our bathroom sink and cleaning about 4 of the rooms in this house simultaneously.  I don't expect to finish all 4, but it's nice to have an early evening and get some stuff done.
I bought about 12 different cleaning products tonight, and I will probably try most of them today.  :)
I also bought lavender sandalwood fabric softener and dryer sheets, so I am excited about how clean and nice everything will be and smell!    :)  Hopefully I don't fall over in 30 minutes and can actually finish some of these projects.
:)

Candid camera

Today I was at the high school sewing, when I look over my shoulder and there is a video camera in my face!  So maybe now I will be part of Robbie's senior project - a documentary of how a show is made.    :)

Sometime I need to post some pictures of what we have been doing.  Although I will probably just wait til we start dress rehearsals and let Cam do it.

Small Group Photos

Here are some pictures of our small group eating a delicious meal prepared by the fabulous Lois Collins!  Of course, you can't see her because she's behind the camera.  But let me assure you the food was delicious and beautiful!  I had never had salad in a cucumber ring before, and I don't think I have ever eaten a yummier salad.
Thank you miss Lois!!!

It's rather odd

When I am very tired, I cannot make new decisions very easily.  If I have been cleaning, I keep doing it even though my feet hurt and my eyes ache and I am moving so very slowly.
Or if I've decided that I am buying a plane ticket tonight, then that's what I will do even though I can't pick out which one I want - I had already decided to do it and it's too hard to make a new decision not to.
But I sometimes function very well at the point of exhaustion.  Those who know me well know that I am at my best playing cards after midnight.   :)  (Ah...the good-old-days)

All that ramble to say (I think I must be rather self-absorbed since the entire ramble was entirely about my idiosyncrasies that hardly anyone else could find interesting)...

...I bought a ticket to see Anneke & Co.  in April!    :D

An update, sort of.

This week has been very busy, but then that's how most weeks are now-a-days.  I feel happy and excited with where my life is going, but I don't think I could exactly point out the reasons why - I just do.  Maybe something to do with the variety.  Or maybe because we are getting ready to put on the most specatcular show yet!
So if you haven't talked to me in a while, I am doing great.  Just crazy busy doing a hundered different things and loving it!
(And I think I finally convinced Lindsay tonight that I would really and truly love to baby sit her sweet Henry any time she needs me to and I'm not doing one of those hundred things)
