It's true, today is my birthday. My friend made a special birthday post for me - it's fun.
I had lunch with my Mama and Papa (Boone Thai-Phad Thai Chicken, yeah!)
And my sister made me banana bread!

Happy Thanksgiving!
It's been quite the week, but I wanted to make sure I got that in.
My Fair Lady was spectacular, and if you get an opportunity to see this group perform it, I would recommend you do so.
But even before I got to see My Fair Lady, I was paid a visit by my friend Laura and her boy friend Michael. They were stopping by to say "hi" on their way to a hike. In a brief moment alone, Michael pulled out a small wooden box, opened it and showed me the ring inside. Of course, I stayed composed, but as soon as they left I went running and screaming a round the house, I was that excited. He had her convinced it would be another year or so before they could get engaged. When he proposed, she fell over - literally.
So that makes three wedding for next year. Theirs will most likely be the middle of August.
The rest of my weekend was delightful. Too much good food, lots of fun playing games with family and friends, hanging out with Ben and Keri who came into town, catching up with Suzanne Pickens and remembering how to play American (it's a card game).

Random Happiness
Today, I opened a package from England that contained an invoice printed on A4 paper. It made my evening.

New Picture
April just put this picture of her and Daniel on their knot.com site:
If you haven't been to look at it in a while, go and check out what she's done.
The story of how they met and other goodies are up now.

Hmmm...that's interesting.
All you do is type your web site in and it calculates what level of education is required to understand your blog. Personally, I think it's random since I also typed in Cam's and Scotty's and they came out as Junior High and High School respectively.
(I think it's a complement to my readers - y'all are geniuses!)

Now I know
Now I know what I want to do for my birthday: Go see My Fair Lady in Greenville. This is one of my favorite shows ever because it's so funny, the songs are great and because I love Audrey Hepburn in the movie. I saw it once at the Fox but I'm convinced that the actor playing Prof. Higgins was drunk. He forgot half his lines and the rest of them were hard to understand. It was an ok performance, but I still loved it because it was My Fair Lady.
This weekend
I was trying to figure out what I'm doing this weekend, when I read my blog and realized I am going to see "Lucky Stiff" at Western.
I'm not sure when I'll go, either Saturday night or Sunday afternoon. If anyone else wants to go, maybe we could go together as a group!

Long ago
Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed the heir of all things, through whom also He created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and He upholds the universe by the word of His power.

Lucky Stiff
The University Players at Western Carolina University will present "Lucky Stiff," a comedic musical of farce and suspense, Thursday, Nov. 8, through Sunday, Nov. 11.
I've never seen this show, but I've heard some of the music and I liked it. I am planning on going (unless someone older and wiser says I shouldn't) and wanted to let all of you in this area know about it.

Happy November!!!
I love it when November finally comes around. To me, it's the start of the holidays and almost the end of this year and the start of a new one! It's very exciting. November and December are always so busy and fun. First, there's my birthday (with Mama's carrot cake), then Thanksgiving (with pies), then State meet for our compulsary gymnasts, then Christmas parties...and finally Christmas and New Years.
It's just great!
