Where's she been?

If you live in Franklin you may not have seen a lot of me this week - Well, really, if you live in my house you may not have seen much of me - which is only one person this week and she's never home on a regular basis anyways. So, what I'm trying to communicate in a very uneffective manner is that tonight the 30 Hour Famine starts!!! I woke up this morning so excited, I can't wait! I've spent all week (except for work) running around town shopping and getting things ready for tonight and tomorrow. It very well could be our best Famine ever!

If you think of it, please pray that God would be glorified in everything that is said and done and that the teens would be impacted and allow God to speak to them and change their hearts.

The Wilson's (my parent's neighbors) house burned down today. Chris and Deb are fine.
They are staying with the Boyers tonight and then tomorrow they'll be at the Parker's rental cottage.
Cervantes (the parrot) didn't make it out and probably Skitter (daschund) didn't either.

Please keep them in your prayers and support them in any way you can.

The secret ingredient

We have run out of most normal things to eat at my house. (I ate left-over macaroni and cheese and a clementine for breakfast.)
For lunch I had a bean burrito with cheddar and sour cream - but a secret ingredient made it quite delicious. That ingredient is.....sliced green olives. Yes, it added quite a nice flavor. And would I have ever thought of adding green olive to my burrito if there had been salsa in the fridge or cabinet or anywhere else? I don't think so.

I love my life

I had a great day today.
DSS court was over quickly; I got to hang out at drama class for a bit; I ate macaroni and cheese for lunch; gymnastics was very fun and productive; I came home and got to talk with April and Camila about what's new. It was a very good day.

*Scotty, what I didn't say earlier is, when I have a valentine, you and the rest of the world will know it. I'm not secretive about such things; unlike several people I know.
